This fall, many Middle Eastern related events are taking place at the Middle East Institute at Columbia University. Talks include a wide range of seminars, panels, discussions, music performances and many more. The Middle East Institute in Columbia, founded in 1954, aims to develop an integrative and cultivating studies in both approaches of the Middle East and Islam. The institute carries more than 30 talks per year on topics ranging from art to religion, history and ethnography.
